The Felco F-8 Classic Pruner has a comfortable, light, sturdy handle made of forged aluminum with a limited lifetime guarantee. The blade is made of high-quality hardened steel, which allows clean, precise cuts. The sap groove prevents the blade sticking when cutting “sappy” wood. It saves time and makes pruning easier by removing sap and debris after each cut. The Felco Classic Pruner is easily adjustable. Hand and wrist protection and optimization of the force exerted are provided by the angled head, the ideal shape of the handles, and the cushion-shock absorber / non-slip coating. The Felco ergonomic hand pruner sports a strong anvil blade and is an ideal choice for light day-to-day pruning. Users will benefit from the pruner’s lightweight construction and handle design that resists slipping. Easy to use, the pruner tackles tasks such as cutting back an overgrown hydrangea or removing a sickly pansy patch with minimal stress on user hands and wrists. The pruner’s anvil blades are crafted with hardened Swiss carbon steel blades that offer frictionless slicing and resist rust. With a fine blade adjustment and a wire cutting notch, the blades easily cut through branches, stems, and wires up to 1-inch in diameter. The light metal handles are forged for durability and pivot on tough, replaceable pins rather standard rivets. A cushioned stop keeps the blades from opening unexpectedly or overly wide. The pruner measures 8-1/2 inches long and weighs only 8.7-ounces, and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

Puts other pruners to shame Always buy Felco. I am a professional gardener, and no pruners have come close to how satisfying these feel. They’re perfectly balanced, feel unbreakable, and cut perfectly every time. They will last for years. If they start to get any rust spots on them, a little oil, steel wool, elbow grease and 5-10 min of your time and they’ll be back to looking new.On a responsible gardening note, remember to clean your pruners regularly, especially if dealing with diseased plants. Works Great As Felco Should No issues at all. I’ve been using Felco F-2 pruners for over 24 years. And decided to try this style, the F-8. I like it but actually prefer the F-2 mainly because I’m so accustomed to the feel of the F-2 and with this different head angle I need to think about it a little bit more rather than just GO and get it done without hesitation. But that’s just me. These feel more comfortable but are much more right handed oriented than the F-2. I’m ambidextrous so I switch hands all the time and I…

F-8 very nice. Best for larger hands. Tried an F-6 too. This Felco F-8 is an excellent bypass pruner. It is a little heavy and a holster () is a good accessory. However, the F-8 seems best for larger hands. I have short hands/fingers, and so I also tried a Felco F-6 (), which is the same pruner made for smaller hands…
