Flawed Watering Can I chose this product because I thought that the wood and metal construction would hold up to real gardening by a child. I like the cheerful bright colors. The tools and gloves were good — the hand trowel had a nice point (though not sharp) for digging and the cotton gloves fit little hands. The watering can was another story. The spout was not well connected to the can and due to its low position, it leaked as soon as you put water in it. The child I gave it to will use it as a bath toy,…

cute, but not durable I got this for my 2 year old and while I realize she is not the right age for it, she loved it. She loves to copy me when I’m in the garden and she really enjoyed having a set her size. Unfortunately after a month, the water spout of the can rusted and detached and fell off. The tools are great quality, but the watering can is not so great. The opening on top was a little hard for my daugther to manage, but I realize it’s just because she’s too young.
